Junior Tennis

It's about more than winning with Gino. Kids learn teamwork, communication, balance, agility, hand-eye coordination, character building, problem-solving and self-reliance, and maybe even a funny joke, all while building friendships . Gino loves learning too. That is why he has achieved his certification as a USPTA-PTR Certified Level 3 Pro . He uses the Net Generation model of teaching to help children progress in their game. Kids work their way through the below levels that are designed to adapt to each child's age, physical and emotional development. 


The Run Down:

Year Teaching : 10 years

Years Playing : 35 years, USTA Rating 4.5

PTR Associated : 12 years

USTA Member: 24 years

UTR Certified: 2019

CCTA- Collier Tennis Captain : 6 years

AAKD US Open, Next Generation Kids Day Volunteer : 2019

NFHS Certified: 3 Years

Net Generation Certified up to date : 10 and Under & 11-17

CPR Certification: Up to date through 2021


Teaching Style

Gino teaches the modern style of tennis while honoring the traditional style. He focuses on Eastern and continental grips, while reserving western and semi western grips for the most experienced and skilled players. He teaches footwork, court position and game strategy for single and double players. He enjoys developing players serve, volley, ground strokes and specialty strokes. He specializes in teaching kids 4-17, NTRP any level and seniors of any age. He strives to help his students achieve the next level of tennis and helps them develop their vision, wether it is to have fun in retirement or develop into a world class player.

Empower Kids to Progress at Their Own Pace

Gino provides an integrated course schedule of learning through exploration. Classes combine hands-on experience with knowledge-based teaching. Times and pricing is for lessons at the Arthur Allen Tennis Center adjacent to Cambier Park in downtown Naples.

Red Ball Beginning Tennis

Ages 4-6

Red ball play on smaller 36′ courts, with right-sized equipment, is a great way for young players to hone their skills.

$20 Per child ($ 25 Non Member )

Privates $75 Per Hour

Orange Ball Intermediate Tennis

Ages 7-10

Played on 60′ courts, orange balls have slightly more bounce than the red balls. This is great for players who have honed their skills and those who are working on developing more match play experience – and it’s the first step on our Youth Progression Pathway!

$20 Per child ($ 25 Non Member )

Privates $75 Per Hour

Green Dot Advanced Junior Tennis

Ages 10 - 12

Played on a full court, green balls bounce slightly lower than a yellow tennis balls. At this level players are more experienced with match play.

$20 Per child ($ 25 Non Member )
